AppJubilee is the better fit if your work is App Store optimization for one app or many: automatic keyword discovery, listing-change impact analysis, competitor ads intelligence, a $29 single-app plan, or an Agency plan for up to 30 apps, all without sharing revenue data. Ranksy is the better fit if you need to see which keyword produced paying merchants, with Partner API revenue, churn, a customer CRM, Meta CAPI attribution and MCP access on every plan from $39 a month.

Both serve Shopify app developers. They overlap on ranking tracking and competitor monitoring, then go in different directions. AppJubilee goes deeper into the listing. Ranksy follows the install into revenue and the customer record.

Where AppJubilee is the stronger choice

AppJubilee is built around the listing. It discovers keywords automatically, so you do not start from a blank list. It compares rankings before and after each listing change, and its Action Engine turns detected events into suggestions. Review tracking includes sentiment and topic categories. If your main job is to improve how one listing ranks, that depth is the reason to pick it.

Three other cases favor AppJubilee:

  • One app on a small budget. Starter is $29 a month for one app. Ranksy Starter is $39 for up to three.
  • Agencies with more than ten apps. AppJubilee Agency covers 30 apps. Ranksy Studio stops at ten.
  • Teams that do not want to share revenue data. AppJubilee's Partners connection reads install and uninstall counts only. Ranksy needs Partner API revenue access to do its job.

Installs by source, or revenue by keyword

AppJubilee's GA4 connection shows per-keyword impressions, clicks and CTR, plus installs by traffic source, and overlays Partners install counts on listing changes. That answers "did this change bring more installs?"

Ranksy answers the next question: did those installs pay? It stitches BigQuery traffic events to Partner API revenue, so each keyword row shows rank, installs, trials and the revenue those merchants produced. A keyword that brings many installs and few paying merchants looks very different here than it does in an install report.

After the install: churn and the customer record

Because AppJubilee does not read revenue or merchant data, it has no churn reporting or customer list. Ranksy keeps a record per merchant with install and subscription history, revenue, health and the acquisition keyword. You can ask which keyword brought the merchants who churned last month, and get an answer in the dashboard or through the MCP server.

Ads: research or attribution

The two products treat ads differently. AppJubilee's Ads Intelligence shows which competitors bid on which App Store keywords, which helps you plan your own bids. Ranksy separates your organic and sponsored App Store positions, and connects Meta campaign activity to installs and revenue through Meta CAPI. If you run paid campaigns, Ranksy measures them. If you are deciding whether to start, AppJubilee shows who is already there.

Switching from AppJubilee to Ranksy

  1. Create a Ranksy account. The 7-day trial starts with no card.
  2. Connect the Shopify Partner API. Ranksy backfills revenue, installs and trials, so your history is there on first login.
  3. Connect BigQuery to turn on keyword and source attribution.
  4. Add your keywords and competitors. Ranksy has no keyword cap.
  5. Keep AppJubilee running during the trial if you rely on its listing analysis. The two can run side by side.

What carries over: your Partner API data rebuilds in Ranksy from the source, including revenue that AppJubilee never stored. Ranksy keeps its own category ranking history for public apps. Keyword rank history and listing-change analysis stored in AppJubilee do not transfer.
